Our website is primarily used for information purposes. Interested users can inform themselves about our company and our products and services. The data and information collected by us can be divided into the following categories:

4. How do we use the data we collect? On what legal basis do we use the data?
We use, store and process information, including personal data, about you, for the following purposes and on the following legal basis:


4.1. Provision, improvement, development and security of the websites: We use the automatically collected log files to make the website and its functions available to you. We also use the information and data to optimize our website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. For this purpose, your IP address must remain stored during the entire session. We use log files as part of our legitimate interest in the availability and continuous development as well as the presentation of our website. The legal basis for the use of the log files is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.


4.2. Analysis: We use the information and data that we generate with cookies to analyse the use of our website. This allows us to learn more about the number of times a page has been viewed, user behaviour or length of visit, and to draw conclusions about the content on our website that is of greatest interest to visitors and that is of less. We may take this into account when we update and redesign our website in the future.

4.6. Google Maps: To display our location and to enable you to plan your route to our offices, our websites include maps provided by Google Maps. Google Maps is deactivated by default and the tool as well as related cookies will only be loaded with your explicit consent, Article 6 (1) (a), 7 GDPR. 4.7. Google YouTube: To provide illustrative examples of our product, we embed videos of YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company belonging to Google. Once you visit a website which contains a YouTube video, YouTube will place cookies on your device. Through these cookies YouTube obtains the information about your visit to our websites and whether you watched the video. Please note that we embedded the videos with activated “enhanced data protection mode”. That means that YouTube will not share the information with other services of Google, particularly not with its advertising network DoubleClick. However, YouTube may also assign this information to your member account in case you are a member of YouTube and logged into your member account. You can prevent YouTube from assigning the information with your member account by logging off from your member account before visiting our website. 5. Will the data and information about me be shared with others?
The data obtained from you are only shared with others according to the need-to-know principle. Only the relevant departments receive insight into your personal data (in case of technical data: IT department; for customer inquiries: sales department) to the extent necessary to enable these departments to perform their tasks. Besides that, we will share the information and data processed through cookies to our cooperation partners, in our case Google LLC who support us in presenting Google Maps and YouTube on our websites.


6. How long will my data be stored?
We only save the data provided to us for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the respective purpose for which you have transmitted us your data or to comply with legal requirements. Log files that we use to provide our websites are automatically deleted as soon as the respective session has ended. Log files for security purposes and as a precaution against attacks on our websites are automatically deleted after 7 days at the latest. The retention period of cookies varies and depends on the service used. It can range from 24 hours to 2 years. 


7. Are data transferred to recipients outside the European Union or outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?
We provide personal data to processors established in countries outside the EEA. In this case, we ensure that the recipient either has an adequate level of data protection (e.g. based on an EU Commission adequacy decision for the country in question, a self-certification of the recipient for the EU-US Privacy Shield, or an agreement between the recipient and the European Union on so-called EU standard contractual clauses) or that a sufficient consent exists. 8. What rights do I have?
In accordance with applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, rectification, portability and erasure of your personal data. However, this does not apply in connection with the use of log files, which are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website.


Your right of complaint to a supervisory authority: Without prejudice to the rights described above, you have the right of complaint to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your place of residence, work or suspected infringement, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is contrary to the GDPR.The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been lodged shall inform the complainant of the status and results of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy under Article 78 GDPR.
