Job description:

The Manager Airline Projects will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering the SkyFive Air to Ground Inflight Connectivity solution to airline customers. The role includes managing a cross-functional team in India and Germany, coordinating with all stakeholders including customers and suppliers, ensuring regulatory compliance with the DGCA, and driving the deployment with the MRO. The applicant should be based in Delhi NCR.

Key responsibilities:

• Project planning and execution: define project scope, objectives, deliverables; develop detailed plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Stakeholder coordination: manage interactions with customers, internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies towards flawless project execution.
• Regulatory compliance: ensure adherence to aviation industry standards, safety regulations, and OEM-specific guidelines.
• Budget and resource management: allocate resources effectively, monitor, and optimize cost.
• Risk management: identify and communicate risks, develop and drive mitigations.
• Quality assurance: ensure that deliverables meet aviation industry standards.
• Reporting and documentation: maintain detailed project records, provide regular updates to leadership, and conduct post-project evaluation.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in aeronautical engineering or aviation management
• Experience: 8 to 10 years in aviation project management with an OEM or an Inflight Connectivity Service Provider; or working within the technical projects or planning team of airline(s); proven track record of successfully managing Inflight Connectivity or avionics projects.
• Understanding of regulatory processes with EASA/FAA/DGCA is essential.
• Previous work experience with commercial airlines in India is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and proficiency in project management tools is a plus.

Roles and responsibilities:

As Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading market capture activities for the commercial aviation segment in Indonesia. Your key objective will be to engage with airlines at executive and director level and lead the discussion with both their commercial and technical teams. You will be responsible for closing complex deals, developing go-to-market strategies as well as sales strategy for an A2G solution that considers emerging trends and key challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

• Formulate GTM strategy for Indonesia and sell SkyFive IFC services to local airlines
• Lead airline engagements and capture market share
• Align sales & business development and market penetration plans with company strategy
• Manage airline accounts
• Develop end-to-end commercial propositions for IFC for each airline together with SkyFive commercial & product teams
• Establish and maintain commercial relationships within the SkyFive partner ecosystem in Indonesia (e.g. ISP, MRO)
• Be the voice of the customer within SkyFive

Qualifications: 

• 10 years+ work experience in Inflight Connectivity / Inflight Entertainment (IFC / IFE) market capture and sales roles
• Proven experience of negotiating and closing complex airline deals
• Proven experience in driving revenue growth via direct and indirect partnerships
• IFC sector knowledge with existing C-level relationships is highly desirable
• Agility to work in a highly dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Fluent in Bahasa and English
